Associate GP post at Lavender Hill Group Practice, a training practice in Battersea serving around 15,000 patients, on a permanent basis. The work is general practice, supported by an established admin team and on-site multidisciplinary staff such as paramedics, pharmacists and physiotherapists. The role is 47 sessions a week with days by agreement, covering morning, afternoon and evening clinics plus on-call duties, and the sessional rate rises through a tier structure tied to specialist responsibilities. Candidates need GMC registration and Performers List inclusion to be considered.
What the job involves
- Deliver general practice clinics across morning, afternoon and evening schedules
- Cover on-call and extended hours duties
- Plan each GP session in line with the Practice schedule
- Work within the admin and multidisciplinary team
- Provide triage and on-call sessions
- Lead a practice chronic condition area or quality initiative area (Tier 2)
- Act as a named clinical lead or take a significant management role (Tier 3)
- Teach medical students and supervise GP registrars, where encouraged
