What the job involves
- Support the Care team in delivering high standards of personal care
- Monitor each resident's wellbeing and amend care plans and records when needs change
- Take part in person-centred care planning, implementing it and carrying out monthly evaluations
- Support residents with their medication requirements
- Carry out staff supervisions and support staff with their development
- Act as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals
- Act on reasonable requests and escalations concerns or complaints
- Help provide a safe, caring, inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff
What’s required
Qualifications
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes
Experience
- Two years' experience in a similar care environment
