We’re on the hunt for a Housekeeping Supervisor with an eye like a hawk,standards sky-high, and a knack for leading a team with energy and purpose. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AHOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR AT THE MET HOTEL, LEEDS
You’ll be the righthand to our Head Housekeeper, helping run the show behind the scenes so thatevery room sparkles, every hallway shines, and every guest walks in thinking “wow.”
Here’s what your dayswill look like:
- Overseethe housekeeping team, guiding, supporting, and keeping standards on pointthroughout the shift
- Checkrooms and public areas with a sharp eye and even sharper standards —quality is everything
- Jumpin where needed — whether that’s turning a room around, calming alast-minute panic, or fixing a cushion that’s gone rogue
- Trainnew starters and coach the team to deliver service that’s consistentlyexcellent (and occasionally jaw-dropping)
- Liaisewith maintenance and front desk to keep things running like clockwork
- Spotissues before they become problems — whether that’s stock levels, staffingneeds, or a squeaky door hinge
- Bea role model for pride, professionalism, and positivity — your team willfollow your lead
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of HousekeepingSupervisor, you will need the following qualities and skills:
- Previousexperience in a housekeeping role — ideally with some supervisory orteam-leader experience under your belt
- Areal passion for cleanliness, order, and going above and beyond
- Confidenceto give direction, make decisions, and handle challenges without breakinga sweat
- Strongorganisational skills and a cool head in a busy environment
- Ateam-first mindset, but happy to take the reins and run the shift whenneeded
- Physicalstamina to keep up with the pace — because even superheroes break a sweatsometimes
- Reliability,flexibility, and a dash of humour — because work’s better when we enjoy it
