Commercial Manager

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager for our Unitised Cargo Commercial team based at the Port of Liverpool. Regular travel will be required in this role.
Your role
You will partner with designated Shipping Lines, working with the Line to develop innovative business propositions and end to end product opportunities to drive increased volume through Unitised terminals, whilst accounting for challenges faced within the Global shipping market, wider industry, and economy. Own and deliver the Shipping Line sales plan, winning business from assigned and new customers to exceed budget volume, EBITDA and market share, in line with the long-term business plan. Use market intelligence, data analysis and industry insight to develop and maintain a customer engagement strategy for assigned accounts, ensuring Shipping Lines are well managed, engaged and regularly updated on Peel Ports business positioning. Lead commercial negotiations, contract management and CRM activity to support the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to revenue collection. What you'll bring
