About the opportunity
We are looking for social and responsible people to help older community members stay connected and assist with their transport needs.
- Reporting to the Transport Operations Manager, Drivers will ensure our clients are transported safely, comfortably and efficiently.
- Transport needs vary and include to and from medical appointments, shopping trips and community outings using a Mercy Health vehicle.
- Many of our clients are vulnerable and require that bit extra to ensure their comfort and sense of security.

- Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective client care.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility with start and finish times across the week from Monday to Friday.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current NDIS screening check.
- Current Driver's License – preferably LR.
- Transport for NSW Public Vehicle Driver Authority.
