About the opportunity: At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Domestic Assistant, you’ll create cherished moments each day. We are currently looking for passionate people to support our Home Care clients to live independently at home by providing domestic assistance with cleaning and laundry duties.

What you’ll bring: You’re reliable, resilient and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in your community. To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Home or Aged Care is advantageous, but not essential.
- Passion about helping people in your community, with strong relationship building, time management and budget management skills.
- Previous case management experience as well as relevant qualifications.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A safe, sensible approach with a practical understanding of people’s physical limitations.
- The ability to be flexible and adapt to meet clients’ individual needs.
We would also love you to have:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Current COVID-19 certificate and proof of current influenza vaccination.
