About The Role: As a Commis Chef, you will support the delivery of high‑quality food across our kitchens, working closely with the senior chef team to ensure consistency, preparation standards and excellent service. This is a hands‑on role based onsite however flexibility will be required to support evenings and weekends in line with business needs and event schedules. You will be involved in daily food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, supporting service, and working collaboratively with the wider team. You are expected to uphold excellent food safety standards, follow direction from senior chefs, and contribute to a positive, efficient kitchen environment.

Your Key Responsibilities as a Commis Chef will be:

  • To assist in the preparation of food items whilst following recipe specifications
  • Working in accordance to the highest of food standards
  • To demonstrate you are willing to learn and help in all departments including putting stock away
  • Ensuring cooked/raw food is stored correctly and high levels of food standards are achieved
  • Responsible for keeping areas in the kitchen clean, tidy and stocked ready for service
  • Assist with other duties such as deliveries, food service and kitchen cleaning
  • Have a desire to increase knowledge on food
  • Positive and team player attitude
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
