We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Freezer Operative to join our team in London. This is a key role within our warehouse operation, ensuring frozen products are handled, stored, and prepared accurately to support our daily deliveries. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while operating in a temperature-controlled setting, approximately -22°C. Full PPE will be provided; however, you must be comfortable working in cold conditions.
Responsibilities
- Confirm arrival quantities against expected consignment reports and liaise with Quality Control and Supply Chain teams
- Pick and consolidate frozen orders ready for vehicle loading
- Process all goods-in paperwork accurately
- Move stock from Goods-In to warehouse locations and ensure correct storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Ensure full traceability of all products
- Manage stock rotation using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles
- Handle goods-in processes, ensuring non-conforming products are correctly segregated
- Check quality and quantities of incoming packaging stock and update systems accordingly
