The Menu Partners is a diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs and restaurants across the UK with whole, prepared or cooked food. We are looking for Freezer Operatives to join our team in London. If you are passionate about consistently providing high-quality service, then this is the role for you. You will be professional and safety conscious in your outlook, with a helpful and productive attitude.
Shift Patterns:
- 5/6 days out of 7 (weekend work required)
- 10am-7pm
- 2pm-11pm
- Must have a forklift license
As a Freezer Operative, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Confirm arrival quantities against expected consignment reports and liaise with Quality Control and supply chain teams.
- Picking/consolidating frozen orders ready for vehicle loading.
- Process all paperwork of goods-in.
- Physical movement of stock from the Goods-In area to the warehouse and/or packing and putting away stock onto the shelves.
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.
- Following workplace health and safety rules.
- Responsible for full traceability of produce.
- Manage and control all stock to ensure the old stock is properly rotated and new stock is stored in a 'First In First Out' format.
- Manage the goods inward process and ensure all non-conforming food is segregated away from acceptable produce.
- Checking quality and quantities of incoming packaging stock and ensuring all stock systems are updated accordingly.
- Experience working in a Warehouse is required.
Please note this position will be working in -22 Degrees; PPE will be provided, however, you will need to be able to work in this cold environment.
