About The Role: As the Cadillac F1 Team Trackside Host you will be responsible for the meticulous planning and delivery of high level VIP hospitality, ensuring always that we deliver the Absolute Taste food vision for all aspects of the event.

  • Working with Absolute Taste and Cadillac F1 Team to deliver exceptional catering and hospitality in a busy, demanding environment.
  • Superb front of house presence, service, gravitas, and attention to detail with ability to demonstrate experience within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Excellent client relationship building and management.
  • Calm and decisive in challenging, stressful situations.
  • Organised, punctual, motivational, and with varied communication skills (formal, informal, international).
  • Strong organizational skills to support Project Lead and Trackside Hospitality Manager.
  • Assist with planning and delivery of temporary staff induction and training alongside Trackside Hospitality Manager.

On Event:

  • Act as an ambassador for Absolute Taste towards our client and their guests.
  • Live event management; outstanding front of house presence and attention to detail.
  • Ensuring hospitality areas are ready at the required time, including the highest standards of staff and FoH presentation.
  • Proactively engage with team and guests and be on hand at all times to assist the client with any requests.
  • Making all guests, team members, media and sponsors feel welcome.
  • Serving food and drink during meal times.
  • Working with the kitchen team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of every service.
  • Clearing tables and ensuring all areas are clean and presented to the highest standard.
  • Assisting chefs, if required, with basic food preparation and washing up.
  • Joint responsibility of all FoH staff to keep the facility clean and tidy at all times.
  • Assist with making all beverages including coffees, cocktails and detailed wine pairings.
  • Actively manage assigned area or separate hospitality area as required.
  • Safe and speedy set up and pack down of all event areas (including BoH) and equipment.

Post Event:

  • Ensure all records and reports are fully completed, up-to-date and shared with the Project Lead.
  • Ensure all lessons learned are documented and carried forward to the next event.
  • Attend post-event debriefs with the client as required.

What we are looking for:

  • We are seeking a team member with strong written and verbal communication skills who can effectively engage with and support our US-based clients, using appropriate vocabulary, tone, and communication style for the audience.
  • Event or restaurant experience, ideally with international focus.
  • A passion for events and events hospitality.
  • The ability to communicate at a variety of levels including the management of fellow team members, the client and the contractor base.
  • The role requires travel and work abroad for approximately 27 weeks of the year, in line with the F1 calendar.
  • Adhere to standards of behavior and conduct expected by Absolute Taste.
