As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking for a

Technical Coordinator to strengthen our team at our Bicester Site.

About The Role

As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe storage and distribution of temperature-controlled products.

You will monitor cold chain compliance, maintain quality and traceability records, conduct warehouse audits, investigate quality issues, and support corrective actions.

Working closely with warehouse teams, transport providers, suppliers, and customers, you will help ensure compliance with food safety standards, Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSP/GDP), and HACCP requirements, while promoting continuous improvement through training and technical support.

As a Technical Coordinator, your key responsibilities will be

  • Monitor and verify cold chain management, ensuring temperature-controlled products are stored and transported within specified limits.
  • Conduct routine inspections and internal audits of warehouse and distribution operations, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including temperature records, calibration records, traceability documentation, and distribution logs.
  • Investigate customer complaints, product quality issues, and distribution non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure full product traceability and support product recalls or withdrawals when required, in accordance with company procedures.
  • Liaise with warehouse personnel, transport providers, suppliers, and customers to ensure food safety and quality requirements are consistently met.
  • Coordinate pest control and warehouse hygiene programmes to maintain compliance with Good Storage Practices (GSP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and HACCP requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to warehouse and distribution staff on food safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for

We\'re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented quality professional with a passion for food safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Quality, Technical, or Compliance role within the food, chilled, or temperature-controlled supply chain.
  • A good understanding of HACCP, Good Storage Practices (GSP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and food safety legislation.
  • Experience conducting internal audits, investigating quality issues, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Knowledge of cold chain management, product traceability, and recall procedures.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate technical documentation and records.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively with warehouse teams, transport providers, suppliers, and customers.
  • The ability to deliver training and provide technical guidance to colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using quality management or warehouse management systems would be an advantage.
