The Menu Partners are looking for a Freezer Warehouse Operative to join our team in Bicester.

About The Role
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Night Shift Yard Shunter (C2 Vehicles) to join our operations team.
Working throughout the night, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of C2 vehicles within the yard, ensuring trailers and vehicles are positioned correctly to support loading, unloading, and dispatch operations.
This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent awareness of health and safety procedures, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.
You will work closely with warehouse, transport, and logistics teams to maintain the smooth flow of vehicles and help ensure operational targets are met.

20.00 - 6.00 (5 nights a week and 6 nights on the 2 nd week) Monday to Friday & Sunday to Friday
- As a Night Shift Yard Shunter (C2 Vehicles) some of your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with Goods In, to park vehicles onto the bays as requested
- Making sure that temperatures are set correctly for the goods loaded when loading and pulling off bays
- Reporting any new damage on vehicles to the transport office
- Making sure all returning vehicles are fully fuelled up
- Carrying out visual checks on all vehicles
- You may be asked to collect stock from our other depot in Bicester.
What We're Looking For
- A valid C2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Previous experience as a Yard Shunter, HGV Driver, or in a similar transport or logistics role.
- Good knowledge of safe vehicle manoeuvring and yard operations.
- A strong commitment to health and safety at all times.
- The ability to work confidently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across transport and warehouse teams.
- A reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work night shifts on a rotating schedule.
- Basic vehicle checks knowledge and the ability to report defects promptly.
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider transport operation when required.
