The Menu Partners is a diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs and restaurants up and down the UK with whole, prepared, cooked food as well as the best quality ingredients. We’re looking for a reliable 3.5-ton multi-drop Van Driver to be the face of The Menu Partners in London. The ideal candidate must be someone looking to prove themselves in a fast-paced environment. They must not be afraid to dive into the daily challenges of working on the road and this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to join a fast-growing business.

THE ROLE

  • 48 hours per week
  • Early shift start time
  • 8 hour shift
  • 10-12 deliveries per day
  • Manual Vans only

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Have a passion for the food industry
  • Has great customer service skills and an interest in meeting new people
  • Has ambition to be a key part of a fast-growing team and business
  • Needs to be well organised and have a keen eye for detail
  • Required to be proactive and flexible in their day to day approach
  • A strategic thinker with initiative
  • Possesses excellent time-management skills
  • A desire to be part of a fun, hardworking and growing team
  • Needs to be able to work early morning and/or nights if required
  • Able to be flexible with working hours
  • Able to assist/complete other departmental tasks when not driving
  • A manual License

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Following routed deliveries & collections (Monday to Saturday)
  • Being the company’s ‘eyes and ears’ when out on the road and relaying necessary information to the team
  • Representing the company to the highest standard including presentation and communication
  • Maintenance of your company van and daily checks
  • Completing the necessary daily paperwork

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
  • Have held a full clean driving license
  • Ability to think 'on your feet'
