The Menu Partners is a diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs and restaurants up and down the UK with whole, prepared, cooked food as well as the best quality ingredients. We’re looking for a reliable 3.5-ton multi-drop Van Driver to be the face of The Menu Partners in London. The ideal candidate must be someone looking to prove themselves in a fast-paced environment. They must not be afraid to dive into the daily challenges of working on the road and this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to join a fast-growing business.
THE ROLE
- 48 hours per week
- Early shift start time
- 8 hour shift
- 10-12 deliveries per day
- Manual Vans only
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Have a passion for the food industry
- Has great customer service skills and an interest in meeting new people
- Has ambition to be a key part of a fast-growing team and business
- Needs to be well organised and have a keen eye for detail
- Required to be proactive and flexible in their day to day approach
- A strategic thinker with initiative
- Possesses excellent time-management skills
- A desire to be part of a fun, hardworking and growing team
- Needs to be able to work early morning and/or nights if required
- Able to be flexible with working hours
- Able to assist/complete other departmental tasks when not driving
- A manual License
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Following routed deliveries & collections (Monday to Saturday)
- Being the company’s ‘eyes and ears’ when out on the road and relaying necessary information to the team
- Representing the company to the highest standard including presentation and communication
- Maintenance of your company van and daily checks
- Completing the necessary daily paperwork
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
- Have held a full clean driving license
- Ability to think 'on your feet'
