Night Manager – The Megaro Collection

Overview
The Megaro Collection encompasses 3 distinctive hotels ranging from our 61‑bedroom 3* hotel The California, to the 33‑bedroom 4* boutique townhouse The Gyle, and our 49‑bedroom 5* property The Megaro. Each hotel offers a unique insight into life in one of London’s rising neighbourhoods and welcomes all guests to Argyle Square for an exceptional and personalised travel experience.
We are now ready to enlarge our family, and we are looking for an experienced Night Manager who is a super user of Guestline PMS (Rezlynx), which is a must to be considered for the role.
Responsibilities
The Night Manager will:
- Manage the guest experience from check‑in to check‑out for all three properties.
- Be responsible for all health and safety, fire safety, and food safety compliance.
- Ensure night audits, closing end‑of‑day, and reconciliation are completed accurately and in accordance with company standards.
- Manage the night receptionist team, ensuring smooth operation and highest level of customer service.
- Coordinate with the fellow Night Manager for seamless operations and effective handover.
- Confirm that arrival lists, credit limits, and cash handling procedures are correct.
- Run reports, handle cashier duties, and achieve reconciliation to company standards and regulations.
- Maintain documentation and provide day‑to‑day performance reports to the hotel manager.
- Support financial monitoring and commercial decisions when required.
- Maintain health and safety protocols and assist with emergency response.
Qualifications & Skills
- Super user of Guestline PMS (Rezlynx).
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in general clerical and administrative tasks.
- Strong knowledge of standard PC packages and computerized reservations systems.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate great attention to detail.
- Excellent command of English, both oral and written.
- Knowledgeable about the company services, standards, and products.
- Commercially and financially astute.
- Passionate about guest journeys and delivering memorable experiences.
- Keen sense of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ideal: SIA qualification for security; not required.
