At Medlock, first impressions matter - but it's the quiet work behind the scenes that makes them possible. As a Linen Porter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our hotel flows smoothly, supporting both guests and colleagues through care, organisation and attention to detail.

This role is about reliability and pride in doing the essentials exceptionally well. From delivering fresh linen on time to maintaining tidy, well-stocked storage areas, you'll help create the calm, seamless experience our guests feel, even if they never see the work behind it. Your efforts ensure our rooms are always ready to be prepared with care - fresh, comfortable and effortlessly looked after.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of all linen movement and organisation across the hotel, ensuring fresh, clean stock is delivered where it's needed efficiently, safely and always on time.
  • Maintaining clean, well-organised linen areas and corridors, following all safety, hygiene and manual handling standards while using equipment with confidence and care.
  • Balancing routine linen runs with the unexpected, staying organised, proactive and one step ahead of the service needs of the hotel.
  • Being a quiet ambassador for The Medlock, bringing our brand to life through reliability, care and the high standards you uphold.
