The Medlock, a Radisson Blu hotel, is a brand-new 401-key hotel set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally. The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world-class 60,000-seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena.
As our Deputy Head Housekeeper, you'll be the calm, capable force that keeps the heartbeat of the department steady and strong. Working closely with the Head Housekeeper, you'll help shape the daily rhythm of the team - ensuring every guest corridor and shared space carries the signature Medlock finish our guests will come to know and love. You'll lead with warmth, clarity and a grounded confidence, supporting the team to deliver exceptional standards while helping create a workplace where people feel encouraged, motivated and proud of what they do.
With an organised approach and a sharp eye for detail, you'll help manage the day-to-day operation to ensure everything runs smoothly, efficiently and always with the guest experience at the centre.
What you'll be doing:
- Support the Head Housekeeper in leading the team with positivity, professionalism and pride - ensuring every room and public area is beautifully presented, refreshed and guest ready.
- Assist with daily room allocations, rotas and performance; coach and train your team with hands-on leadership.
- Work closely with Front Office and Engineering teams to maintain a seamless connected guest journey.
