The Medication Support Company provides medication administration and management monitoring services to ensure patients take the correct medication at the right time and in the right dose. Our service is staffed by pharmacy professionals who interact directly with patients via video calling software, leading to improved health outcomes, reduced medication wastage, and sustainable financial savings.
Role Description
This is a part time contract role for a Remote Monitoring Pharmacy Technician. The Pharmacy Technician will monitor patients' medication administration via video call and provide support to ensure accuracy and adherence to prescribed treatments. Key responsibilities include wellbeing checks, managing repeat medication, liaising with GP surgeries and pharmacies, contacting family members and ensuring effective communication with patients and team members to improve health outcomes.
- Shifts between 7am -11pm available
- Shift length between 1-3 hours available 7 days a week
- Flexibility available according to availability
- Would suit a candidate looking to supplement their existing income as there is no guarantee of a minimum number of shifts
- Pay rate of £16.50 per hour
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician
- Must have quiet, private space to work from
- Must have PC/Laptop
- Must have, or be willing to arrange personal indemnity insurance
- Excellent time keeping and organisational skills are essential
- Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with patients and their families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications desirable
- Weekday and Morning availability desirable
- References required upon request
