The Medical Law Partnership is a newly established and ambitious law firm intent on delivering outstanding legal services to our clients. We are seeking a motivated and client focused Solicitor to join our Clinical Negligence Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with MLP offering scope for personal development and the chance to participate in our expansion.

About the role

As a Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence team you will run a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception to conclusion. All levels of PQE will be considered, from newly qualified solicitors to experienced senior solicitors. Applications are also welcomed from experienced Legal Executives. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a caseload of Clinical Negligence claims and will ensure cases are progressed in a timely, efficient and proactive manner.

Key responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims.

• Overseeing cases from inception to successful resolution.

• Providing expert legal advice and representation to clients.

• Engaging in strategic decision-making and case progression.

• Collaborating with medical experts, barristers, and other professionals to build strong cases.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of running a clinical negligence caseload or assisting on a clinical negligence caseload if newly qualified.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a varied caseload.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent client care skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently whilst also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
