This role involves designing and building a unified platform to automate advertising data collection and processing. You will be instrumental in designing, developing and maintaining robust data pipelines that power automated reporting and analytics for advertising performance across multiple platforms and clients. Key responsibilities include data pipeline development, data warehousing & transformation workflow development. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for scalable data architecture, automation and cloud technologies. You will work closely with warehouse users to ensure data structures are intuitive, efficient and aligned with desired use-cases.
Role Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or another related STEM field.
- 3 years of experience working in a similar role.
- Strong Python development skills, particularly for developing and testing data pipelines.
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing (BigQuery preferred).
- Hands-on experience with orchestration tools (preferably Airflow).
- Proficient in SQL and data modelling best practices.
- Experience with DBT or other modern data transformation frameworks.
- Ability to use a version control system (e.g. git) for code management and collaboration.
- Proficiency in efficiently extracting data from third-party APIs.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience working with advertising data and platform APIs (Google Ads, Microsoft, Meta, etc.).
- Prior exposure to GCP-specific data tools.
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions or other similar tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
- Experience in building out automated testing suites to ensure proper reliability/functionality of the codebase.
- Experience creating technical documentation and conducting training sessions to help non-technical users adopt tooling.
- Knowledge of securing sensitive data, especially when dealing with third-party APIs.
