About the job:

We are currently looking for experienced Modern Slavery Accommodation Support Workers based in the Swindon area to work as a member of the team, and alongside Case Workers to provide a safe temporary environment for vulnerable adults from outside the UK who have experienced trauma and exploitation.

In the role you will:

  • Be responsible for day-to-day health and safety of accommodation provision.
  • Be responsible for safety, risk management and security of service users whilst on shift.
  • Promote best practice in supporting survivors and monitoring impact of services and outcomes for survivors.

Administrative duties:

The Accommodation Support Worker is responsible for maintaining administrative systems, records, statistics and any administrative tasks related to the service users.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, safeguarding, and quality frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults, the ability to work within a residential or community setting with non-UK residents.

This service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week which means you must be willing to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
