The Meath Epilepsy Charity is looking for enthusiastic Waking Night Support Workers to help care for our residents during the night and leading into the morning shifts. We require team players with excellent communication skills who want to deliver a high level of care and support, whilst maintaining safety standards at all times in line with company policies. Previous experience of care work desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

The Role: This role is based in Godalming, Surrey. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will deliver person-centered care and support to our residents, in line with their personal care plans.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting with personal care where needed
  • Assisting with residents mobility where needed
  • Overseeing and preparing of meals and drinks
  • Administering and storage of prescribed medication
  • To become conversant with and implement Meath policies and procedures
  • Updating of care plans and risk assessments on in-house database
  • Ensure safeguarding policies adhered to at all times and be aware of steps to take should you need to escalate concerns

Job: Contract, Permanent, Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £13.00-£14.38 per hour (Pay range depends on the shifts the successful candidate is scheduled to work.)

Hours: Up to 46 hours per week, 8:30pm - 8:00am (11.5 hour shifts). If you are looking for part time hours, please put the hours you are looking for on your application.
