At Brookvale Groby Learning Campus we are seeking a highly organised and professional SEND Administrator to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department, helping to ensure that students with additional needs receive the support they require to thrive. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive difference in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the SENDCo and wider SEND team.
- Maintain accurate and confidential SEND records and student files.
- Coordinate and arrange Annual Reviews, meetings and appointments with parents, staff and external agencies.
- Prepare and distribute documentation relating to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Update and maintain SEND databases and tracking systems.
- Liaise with parents, carers, teachers and external professionals in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor and track statutory deadlines and ensure compliance with SEND legislation and school procedures.
- Produce reports, correspondence and meeting minutes as required.
- Support the administration of access arrangements and examinations where appropriate.
The Successful Candidate will Have
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Strong ICT skills.
- Experience of managing confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Experience working within a school environment (desirable).
- Knowledge of SEND processes, EHCPs and Annual Reviews (desirable).
