The Microsoft Dynamics Product Owner is responsible for the overall ownership, performance, and strategic direction of the Microsoft Dynamics platform (Dynamics 365 CRM/ERP). This role will build and deliver the Dynamics Technical Roadmap; prioritising features that will add value and support wider business areas. The postholder is the bridge between business stakeholders and EITS, ensuring the system delivers business requirements, value, remains secure, and evolves with organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Ownership & Strategy
    • Own the end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics environment (Dynamics 365 CRM, ERP, or both).
    • Define and maintain the system roadmap, ensuring it captures wider business goals and key user (e.g. Marketing, Membership and Business Development) requirements.
    • Is the single point of accountability for system performance, availability, and enhancements and for them to be delivered to requirements and to time.
    • Own end-to-end delivery coordination, facilitating collaboration between developers and SMEs, tracking actions and dependencies, and ensuring agreed deliverables are executed on time and to scope.
  • Business & Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate and partner the business to gather requirements and prioritise system changes.
    • Manage key stakeholders’ expectations, keeping them regularly informed, and resolving conflicting priorities.
    • Translate user needs into functional system requirements.
    • Facilitate workshops where necessary; and work closely with Developers and Configurators to ensure smooth delivery to time.
    • Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on the best way to achieve the desired outcomes using Dynamics.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain, or Power Platform), with a track record of quickly understanding business processes and translating them into effective system outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of business processes (CRM, sales, marketing, finance, operations, and other business areas).
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with integrations, data migration, and reporting.
  • Experience working in Agile or project-based environments.
