Our client is a specialist services division within a larger group seeking an experienced Interim MD/CEO to stabilise, integrate and continue to grow a business made up of a number of operating companies. The division has grown through the acquisition of national and regional specialist firms serving blue-chip clients across the construction sector and wider built environment. The businesses are commercially strong but require interim leadership.
The interim will:
- Step in immediately and take charge and stewardship
- Give the Group CEO a clear, candid diagnosis
- Tighten operational rigour and management routines
- Progress integration without losing commercial momentum
- Build confidence with customers, employees and the wider group
You will bring construction/services industry experience in:
- P&L leadership of a £150mn+ business or division
- Construction sector/built environment/building solutions experience (essential)
- A proven track record integrating acquired businesses (PE Owned or Listed)
- Strong commercial growth credentials alongside operational discipline
- Board-level gravitas with genuine site-level credibility
- A pragmatic, low-ego style — able to build rapport fast at every level
