As a First Responder, you will be covering the following areas: Allerton, Mossley Hill, Garston, Aigburth, Toxteth, Dingle, City Centre, Cressington, Kensington, Anfield, Everton, Vauxhall, Kirkdale, Wavertree, Speke, Woolton, Hunts Cross and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be required to attend calls on a last-minute basis due to sickness or urgent referrals. You will be responsible for providing short term care to help get customers back on their feet on their return home from hospital. It helps customers to rebuild their confidence in day-to-day tasks and allows them to return to a normal independent life.

Hours of work: Full and part time shifts between 7am - 2pm (Morning & Lunch) and 3pm - 10pm (Tea's & Beds) and weekend working.
The role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service certificate (DBS).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reliable, hard-working people with a genuine desire to care.
- Providing care and support to vulnerable adults within their own homes.
- Travel around visiting our service users to assist with daily tasks, from light domestic duties to full personal care.
- Visiting a number of regular service users within the area.
- Assisting with meal preparation, medication administration, laundry, light domestic duties, bathing, dressing and continence requirements.
- You will also provide much needed companionship to people within our community.
- You will need a good sense of humour and a great deal of common sense.
- The successful applicant will demonstrate their communication skills and ability to work in partnership with the service users.
- Have access to your own car with business insurance.
