Thank you for your interest in a role at the MOPAC. We are excited to hear about your experiences.
Join us to make London a safer city for everyone.
This opportunity is opened to MOPAC and GLA Group staff only.
Are you an enthusiastic, empathetic, highly organised and effective team player?
Do you want to work with volunteers and community-led organisations to enable them to influence and scrutinise policing policy, strategy and delivery?
If that sounds like you, please read on.
The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) works on behalf of the Mayor of London to ensure the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is efficient and effective, and delivers the priorities of the Mayor's Police and Crime Plan. This is an exciting time to join MOPAC's Community Engagement and MPS Oversight Team as we build our team to ensure we can support delivery of the Mayor's priority to increase trust and confidence in the MPS by enabling community-led oversight and scrutiny of policing in London.
The Independent Custody Visiting (ICV) Programme Support Coordinator will be a team player, managing the recruitment and onboarding of volunteers, as well as coordinating their training and development, to ensure they can effectively engage in community-led oversight of the MPS. You will be the first point of contact for our volunteers, guiding and supporting them and collating their feedback to ensure it informs oversight, policy and delivery. Your work will focus on, but not be limited to, supporting the delivery of the London Independent Custody Visiting Scheme.
