About you as Leisure Sales Manager

  • Proven background in sales, ideally from hotel / hospitality environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Character, personality and charm in abundance
  • Attention to detail is key
  • Ability to work to deadlines and short lead times
  • Excellent communication and active listener to identify clients needs
  • Multi tasker and team player
  • Be passionate and hungry for developing new business

Aim of the Leisure Sales Manager role

To be responsible for proactively driving business growth while strengthening relationships of our leisure sales accounts

What you will be doing in the Leisure Sales Manager role

  • Be confident in executing the leisure sales strategy, staying informed on market trends and driving proactive sales activities, such as research, site visits, client entertaining and roadshows to build relationships and drive business growth
  • Take full ownership of account management and sales within the leisure market, including transient business, groups and events
  • Managing the existing client base while anticipating their needs
  • Working with the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Iconic commercial team to identify new market and sales opportunities
  • Lead and manage the full RFP process, while sourcing new market leads and unsolicited bids
  • Be confident in utilising and use relevant hotel market performance tools such as Agency 360, Navarino Services, etc.
  • Continuously analyse the competitive set and local market landscape, using these insights to enhance and align our market positioning
  • Update Salesforce on all feedback and notes including follow up of leads, calls and appointments and keep well-maintained client records
  • Serve as a true ambassador for The Mayfair Townhouse, creating an exceptional and memorable experience that showcases Londons most remarkable townhouse in innovative ways, delivered with personality and flair.
