The Mayfair Medical Centre is an NHS general practice serving 4500 patients based next to Bond St tube station. We currently have one GP providing the clinic each day, and given our growing practice population require a GP to support the existing team.
The practice provides a welcoming environment for patients, with great continuity of care given by the practice team. There are a mix of telephone and in person consultations for patients, which are largely booked on the day. Elderly and children can walk-in for a F2F appointment if needed.
We are a small welcoming team who provide great continuity of care and a same day service. We have a great relationship with our patients who appreciate our service and give consistently good feedback.
Role Description
We are looking for a GP to provide clinics on Wednesday, Thursday and currently alternate Fridays, with a view to increasing to every Friday in the future. This would initially be 5 weekly sessions with a view ot increasing to 6. This is a fixed term contract with a view to continuing to a long term role. The clinic will be a standard session with a mix of telephone and F2F appointments, starting at 8am.
We are a teaching practice for medical students and the applicant will enjoy teaching and be happy to supervise medical students e.g. reviewing their consultations or leading tutorials.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, caring, knowledgeable GP who can help us continue to provide a welcoming and high quality service to our patients.
Qualifications
- Up to date on all required education (safeguarding / BLS / ILS etc)
