We are recruiting for a Meeting & Events Manager to join our Meetings & Events Operations Team at The May Fair Hotel.

Overview:

Under the guidance of the M & E Operations Manager you will ensure that you have a full understanding of the service excellence standards within Meeting and Events and will ensure that the guest experience delivered is of an exceptionally high standard. You will take full responsibility for the events that you are assigned to and will ensure that the team is coordinated to fulfil all aspects of the function as per the function sheet. You will coordinate the set up of rooms and other public areas in accordance with the standards ensuring that rooms are maintained to 'show round' standards at all times when not in use. You will ensure that all guests entering the event space are warmly welcomed and served as appropriate. You will ensure that the appropriate bar procedures are in place for every event and that payment is taken for every drink where required. You will handle all guest complaints and feedback positively seeking to resolve all issues where you can. You will create a cohesive and motivated Meeting and Events team for each event that you manage ensuring that morale and team spirit is kept high.

About You:

In depth knowledge of Meetings and Events Operations within a multi-million-pound hotel revenue operation within a 5 Star environment. Excellent attention to detail, logistics, management, and leadership skills is essential for this role. Proven organizational skills, works well on their own. Confident and has the ability to establish rapport effectively. Good command of English both verbal and written.
