We are currently expanding our Groups and Events Team and are recruiting for a Events & Groups Planning executive for the iconic May Fair Hotel.

Overview:

· The role of Groups and Events Planning Executive involves managing and delivering the final details for our client’s events at The May Fair Hotel.

· You will be responsible for maintaining effective and appropriate liaison with our clients throughout the planning process, coordinating planning site inspections and menu tastings where appropriate.

· As the Groups and Events Planning Executive you will assist with meeting and greeting all key clients upon arrival for their event.

· You will attend weekly events meetings with the F&B and Operations teams regarding events for the week ahead.

About You:

· Good knowledge of Groups and Events Planning within a multi-million-pound meetings and events revenue generating 4 or 5 Star hotel operation.

· Proven organizational skills, works well on their own. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.

· Proficient in IT applications including Opera, Delphi, and Salesforce.

· Excellent Sales and Negotiation skills.

· Confident and have the ability to establish rapport effectively.

· Good command of English Language both verbally and written.
