Hours - 37.75 Hours per week, term time only with a 30 minute lunch break.

Monday - 8:30am - 4:15pm

Tuesday - 8:30am - 3:15pm

Wednesday - 8:30am - 6:00pm

Thursday - 8:30am - 3:15pm

Friday - 8:30am - 6:00pm

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic unqualified teaching assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will be committed to studying for their level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider staff team to provide a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment. You will support high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of creative, engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Assist in observing, assessing and recording children’s progress.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, secure and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
  • Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain our high expectations.
Essential
  • Committed to studying for the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Pediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable
  • Experience working with children.
  • Proficient IT skills.
