Position Summary: As a Data Privacy Specialist, you will support a range of data protection and privacy compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions. You will help maintain compliance processes, support privacy assessments, manage data protection records, and contribute to building a privacy-first culture.
What You'll Do:
- Support day-to-day data protection and privacy compliance activities across the UK & Republic of Ireland.
- Maintain records of processing activities, data mapping documentation, consent records, and privacy governance processes.
- Assist with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and other risk management activities.
- Help manage Data Subject Requests, ensuring responses are completed accurately and within regulatory timeframes.
- Support vendor risk assessments, data processing agreement reviews, and international data transfer assessments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide guidance on privacy-related matters and promote compliance best practices.
- Contribute to privacy awareness initiatives, training programmes, and the development of a privacy-first culture.
Who You Are:
- You have a degree or equivalent experience, alongside experience working in data privacy, data protection, or a related compliance field.
- You have practical knowledge of GDPR and related privacy requirements.
- You communicate clearly and effectively, building positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- You enjoy working collaboratively and have a thoughtful approach to problem-solving and managing sensitive information.
- You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- You are comfortable working with technology and may have experience using privacy management platforms.
