We are looking to appoint a highly experienced teacher of excellence for 2 days per week. The post is a non‑teaching post paid at UPS3 whereby you would be responsible for the mentoring and supporting of a number of new staff. You will be line managed by an experienced mentor and the Deputy Head. This is a new post that would suit a colleague with considerable experience who understands pedagogy and has outstanding communication skills. We are not looking for any subject specialism in particular, but a fantastic teacher, probably retired, who now feels they have something to give to the profession in the development of trainee teachers who are training over a number of different pathways.

We offer a fringe salary rate and continuous service recognition for colleagues transferring from a school in the Herts LEA area. The school supports and promotes the safeguarding of children and is an equal opportunities employer. References will be sought prior to interview. This vacancy will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and will require the candidates to evidence the right to work in the UK. We may also carry out checks on social media for shortlisted candidates.
