About Our Client
Our client operates a unique, experience-driven hospitality and events venue on a working organic farm near the England–Wales border. They host private gatherings, weddings, corporate retreats, seasonal dining experiences and rustic accommodation — all built around a celebration of the outdoors, fire-cooked feasts and bringing people together in memorable ways. The business is rooted in its rural setting and values authenticity, creativity and community-centred storytelling.
The Role
You will be the right-hand person to the Director — trusted, hands-on, and involved in everything marketing. This job isn’t just grunt work: you will own real tasks that push the brand forward, build engagement and help drive bookings and awareness across digital and offline channels. You will learn, execute, and grow into an asset the business can’t imagine being without.
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)
- Brand & Content - Create compelling written and visual content for social media, newsletters, blogs and email campaigns. Help shape the venue's brand voice and narrative — telling why this place is different in a crowded hospitality market.
- Digital Marketing - Manage and schedule social content across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.). Support basic analytics: track engagement, report on performance and feed insights into future content. Assist with website updates and SEO-focused content where needed.
- Campaign & Event Support - Help plan and market special events (e.g., seasonal feasts, open days, wedding showcases). Coordinate promotions and community outreach tied to these events.
- Customer & Community - Respond to online enquiries and audience engagement with professionalism that reflects the brand's personality. Support the development of partnerships (local businesses, influencers, press).
- Operational Support - Assist in producing and distributing marketing collateral (print flyers, signage, press kits). Keep marketing assets and calendars organised.
Candidate Requirements
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
- Achieved grades C/4 and above in English and maths GCSE
- Ideally be educated to A-level standard or higher
- Practical, proactive and ready to jump in
- Comfortable with writing, visuals and social platforms
- Eager to learn the ropes of small-business marketing
- Someone who doesn’t overthink — gets things done

This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:

In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
