Are you passionate about insight-led marketing? Can you turn a business’s social impact into engaging, creative campaigns? Are you looking to join an organisation that is making a genuine difference?

We’re entering a new era at Patient Choice, where insight and creativity are shaping how we support thousands of clinicians and their patients. Take a look at patientchoice.net/brease, our clinician ordering platform, for a glimpse of that change in action and the service you’ll help bring to life through our marketing.

We are a NHS contracted business dedicated to improving experiences for patients and healthcare professionals across the UK. We’re looking for a talented and proactive Assistant Marketing Manager to join our growing team.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer and the wider business, you’ll take campaigns from brief through to delivery and evaluation, combining strategic thinking with hands-on creativity. You’ll reach B2B and B2C audiences across digital and traditional channels, helping us measure and communicate the difference Patient Choice makes to people, communities and the NHS.

With genuine creative autonomy, opportunities for career progression and the freedom to develop your skills, there’s never been a better time to join Patient Choice.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning and delivering creative, insight-led marketing campaigns from brief through to completion
  • Developing campaigns across digital, email, websites, social media, ecommerce and traditional marketing channels
  • Creating tailored content for B2B and B2C audiences
  • Adapting tone, messaging and campaign activity for different audiences and platforms
  • Writing clear and engaging copy for websites, emails, landing pages, social media and campaign materials
  • Managing campaign plans, content schedules, budgets and delivery deadlines
  • Supporting website and ecommerce activity across Odoo, WordPress and other platforms
  • Planning email communications, paid advertising, Google Ads and social media campaigns
  • Using data, research, feedback and performance insights to improve future activity
  • Measuring and communicating Patient Choice’s social impact
  • Coordinating external agencies, suppliers and freelancers where required
  • Providing day-to-day guidance and support to colleagues as the marketing team grows

About you, you’ll bring:

  • Relevant mid-level marketing experience
  • A genuine passion for purposeful, insight-led marketing
  • Experience in paid advertising, Google Ads, social media
  • Proven experience with email marketing and WordPress
  • Experience planning and delivering campaigns from brief through to evaluation
  • Hands-on experience across digital and traditional marketing platforms
  • Experience marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences
  • The ability to adapt your messaging and approach for different audiences, channels and priorities
  • Strong copywriting, communication and organisational skills
  • A good understanding of brand management, tone of voice and message hierarchy
  • Confidence managing multiple campaigns, stakeholders and deadlines
  • Confidence delegating work and providing guidance to others
  • Confidence using data, insight and performance information to shape campaigns

In return we can offer a competitive salary depending on experience between £36,000 - £38,000 per annum. In addition to your salary, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including:

  • Quarterly bonus scheme
  • 25 days’ annual leave, plus Bank Holidays
  • An additional day of annual leave for each completed year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days
  • Family-friendly policies, including flexible working
  • Death in service benefit
  • Salary protection benefit
  • Free gym membership
  • Westfield Health cover
  • Company-wide social events throughout the year

Applications closes: Midnight 9th November

Our recruitment process is thorough and usually takes place over three stages. This ensures you have the opportunity to get to know Patient Choice, while allowing us to understand your experience, approach and potential.
