What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that motivate and inspire every learner.
- Adapt teaching to meet individual needs, enabling pupils to achieve meaningful academic, social and emotional progress.
- Monitor, assess and celebrate pupil achievement, using assessment to inform future learning.
- Prepare pupils for examinations and support a range of assessment activities.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that promote confidence, resilience and independence.
- Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and external professionals to provide the very best outcomes for pupils.
- Contribute to curriculum development, school improvement and the wider life of the school.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare, health and wellbeing of every child.
About you
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Is passionate about inclusive education and helping every young person succeed.
- Brings creativity, enthusiasm and energy into the classroom.
- Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Is resilient, adaptable and thrives in a rewarding specialist setting.
