As we continue to grow both in the UK and internationally, we are looking for a talented and commercially minded Senior Ecommerce & CRM Executive to help shape and deliver an exceptional online customer experience.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Digital & Growth, the Senior Ecommerce & CRM Executive will play a central role in the day-to-day management, optimisation and growth of Birdie Fortescue's digital channels. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining technical ecommerce expertise with creativity, organisation and commercial thinking. You will be responsible for helping ensure the website remains beautifully presented, commercially effective and operationally seamless, while supporting the delivery of our email marketing programme and wider digital growth initiatives. Working closely with the marketing team, you will help bring campaigns, collections and brand stories to life online, while ensuring the digital customer journey is engaging, consistent and aligned across all touchpoints. We are looking for someone who is confident working within Shopify Plus, experienced with Shopify Markets and passionate about delivering a premium customer experience through thoughtful ecommerce and CRM execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ecommerce & Website Management
    • Support the day-to-day management of the Birdie Fortescue Shopify Plus website
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve website performance, customer experience, customer retention and digital growth
    • Manage product launches, collection merchandising, content updates, pricing changes and promotional activity
    • Build and maintain landing pages, collection pages and campaign content
    • Ensure the website is visually engaging, commercially effective and aligned with brand standards
    • Maintain a high level of accuracy across product information, content and customer-facing messaging
    • Conduct regular testing and quality assurance across desktop and mobile devices
    • Support the continuous optimisation of the customer journey and shopping experience
    • Manage the Shopify Plus platform and support ongoing site development
    • Take ownership of Shopify Markets, helping to deliver a seamless experience for international customers
    • Work with agency and development partners on website enhancements, bug fixes and technical improvements
    • Manage integrations, applications and third-party ecommerce tools
    • Support website performance, functionality and conversion optimisation initiatives
    • Help identify opportunities to improve site usability, efficiency and customer experience
  • CRM & Email Marketing
    • Support the planning, creation and delivery of email marketing campaigns and customer communications with external agencies.
    • Build and deploy campaigns within Klaviyo, ensuring content, segmentation and customer journeys are accurately executed
    • Assist in managing the email marketing calendar and campaign workflow
    • Support automated customer journeys and lifecycle marketing programmes
    • Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention and revenue
    • Ensure all customer communications reflect the Birdie Fortescue brand voice and aesthetic
    • Prepare regular performance reporting and insights for the senior leadership team, highlighting opportunities and recommendations across ecommerce and CRM activity

Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years' experience within ecommerce, CRM or digital marketing
  • Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Plus
  • Proven experience working with Shopify Markets
  • Experience using Klaviyo or a similar email marketing platform
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce operations, merchandising and customer journeys
  • Commercially aware with a good understanding of ecommerce performance metrics
  • Experience using Shopify Analytics and GA4
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience within interiors, lifestyle, fashion or premium consumer brands is desirable

Birdie Fortescue is a national team, with colleagues based across the UK. Whilst our head office is in Norfolk, candidates do not need to be based locally. We come together regularly in either London or Norfolk for team meetings, planning sessions and collaboration, while maintaining a flexible approach to day-to-day working.
