The Role
At House of Greenland, we solve business problems.
We turn brands into solutions and create genuine reasons for audiences to care. Our client roster includes industry leaders such as Google, You Tube and Air New Zealand.
We're looking for a Senior Account Manager who is part strategist, part creative champion, part project manager and part trusted client partner.
This isn't a role focused solely on managing timelines, chasing actions and relaying information.
It's about helping clients solve meaningful business challenges, contributing to work that makes an impact and playing a central role in bringing great ideas to life.
You'll lead day-to-day client relationships, connect teams, help shape strong briefs and ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Most importantly, you'll be curious, proactive and invested in creating work that works.
This role is ideal for an ambitious Senior Account Manager looking to take the next step towards Account Director.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day client relationships, building trust through proactive communication, clear structure and sound judgement.
- Be the link between our clients and internal teams, translating business challenges into clear briefs, actions and opportunities.
- Write briefs and contact reports, working closely with the strategy team to ensure projects start with clarity and purpose.
- Help maintain the quality of the work by challenging thinking and asking the right questions before it leaves the House.
Does it answer the brief?
Is it distinctive?
Will it make an impact?
- Work closely with production teams on estimates and project scoping, ensuring projects remain on track and within agreed parameters.
- Contribute to strategic and creative conversations, bringing curiosity, commercial awareness and a strong understanding of audiences and human behaviour.
- Identify opportunities to add value for clients and share these with senior team members.
- Facilitate productive conversations between strategy, creative, production and client teams.
- Bring energy, momentum and solutions-focused thinking to projects, helping teams navigate challenges and keep moving forward.
What We're Looking For
- A natural relationship builder who creates trust with clients and colleagues through reliability, proactivity and sound judgement.
- Emotionally intelligent and able to adapt your approach to different people, situations and challenges.
- Strategically curious, with an interest in human behaviour, audience insight and solving business problems.
- Passionate about great creative work and motivated by ideas that make an impact.
- An excellent communicator who can clearly articulate ideas and build rapport with both clients and agency teams.
- Highly organised and accountable, able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Calm under pressure, comfortable navigating ambiguity and finding practical solutions when plans change.
- Detail-oriented, with high standards for the quality and accuracy of work.
- Collaborative by nature, building strong relationships across strategy, creative, production and client teams.
- Positive, proactive and genuinely enjoyable to work with, bringing energy and momentum to projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in an agency account management role, ideally at Senior Account Manager level or junior account director.
- Experience managing integrated projects from brief through to delivery.
- Confidence managing day-to-day client relationships independently.
- Experience working closely with strategy, creative and production teams.
- A passion for creating work that delivers meaningful business outcomes.
- Why House of Greenland
We're small and move fast.
You'll have real responsibility from day one, direct access to senior leadership and genuine influence on the work.
We dig into culture and human behaviour to create work that earns attention and drives results.
If you want to help build brands that people genuinely care about — and work alongside smart, ambitious people who enjoy solving difficult problems — you'll fit right in.
