Warrington (or Stoke or Birmingham) - Hybrid Working Available

We are partnering with a growing and ambitious organisation to recruit a Marketing Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused marketing professional who understands that great marketing isn’t just about brand awareness and engagement—it's about driving growth, generating opportunities and delivering measurable business results. You’ll join a business that values marketing as a strategic function and will play a key role in shaping marketing activity, leading a talented team and influencing commercial performance across the organisation.

We’re looking for someone who can combine creativity with commercial thinking, using insight, data and experience to develop campaigns that make a genuine impact on the growth of this business.

The Role

As Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of the marketing strategy and lead a team responsible for delivering campaigns that support business growth, customer acquisition and brand development. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will ensure marketing activity is aligned with wider commercial objectives and delivers measurable outcomes.

  • Leading, mentoring and developing an in‑house marketing team
  • Creating and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and business growth
  • Working closely with sales and operational teams to ensure marketing activity supports commercial objectives
  • Developing employer branding and recruitment marketing campaigns to help attract top talent
  • Managing marketing budgets and ensuring investment delivers strong returns
  • Analysing campaign performance and using data to optimise future activity
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, introduce new ideas and enhance marketing effectiveness
  • Producing reports and presenting marketing performance, insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ensuring marketing activity remains innovative, relevant and commercially focused

About You

You will be commercially aware, confident working with data and comfortable challenging ideas when there is a better way to achieve results. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience leading marketing activity within a commercial organisation
  • Experience managing and developing marketing teams
  • A proven track record of delivering measurable growth through marketing
  • Strong understanding of lead generation, customer acquisition and marketing ROI
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and performance reporting
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge, including SEO, PPC, CRM, marketing automation and analytics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A data‑led approach to decision-making and campaign optimisation
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery

Experience within professional services, education, training, engineering, construction, technical or business‑to‑business sectors would be advantageous, but is by no means essential.

What's in it for You?

  • £45,000 – £55,000 salary depending on experience
  • The opportunity to shape and influence marketing strategy
  • Leadership responsibility within a growing organisation
  • A collaborative and ambitious working environment
  • Genuine opportunity to make a measurable impact on business growth
  • Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Marketing Manager looking to join a business where marketing is valued, performance is measured and success is recognised.
