Founded in 2000 by Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, Marie-Chantal is a globally recognised luxury childrenswear and family gifting brand, renowned for timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship, and modern heritage. We're a close-knit team based in West London, passionate about delivering a best-in-class experience to our customers around the world.
The Role: We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Ecommerce Executive to join our digital team. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you'll play a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of our Shopify store and marketplaces – from product uploads and site merchandising to customer service and performance reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their ecommerce career who wants real ownership and variety, within a brand with a genuine point of difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining product listings on Shopify, ensuring all copy, imagery, and pricing is accurate, on-brand, and consistently presented.
- Assisting with website maintenance – seasonal landing pages, banners, promotional updates, and navigation changes – keeping the site fresh and commercially relevant.
- Supporting the wider ecommerce team with site improvements and ongoing optimisation of the customer journey.
- Supporting the implementation of seasonal campaigns, new collection launches, and promotional activity across the site and marketplaces.
- Coordinating with the marketing team to ensure product information and creative assets are updated and live on time.
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries across email and other channels, responding promptly and with the warmth and professionalism that reflects the Marie-Chantal brand.
- Resolving order issues, returns, and complaints with care, keeping customers informed at every stage and escalating where necessary.
- Monitoring daily orders and working closely with the logistics team to ensure smooth, timely fulfilment.
- Identifying and resolving any fulfilment issues proactively, minimising customer impact.
- Managing our marketplace presence across key partners — maintaining listings, processing orders, responding to customer queries, and ensuring the brand is represented consistently across every channel.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with marketplace contacts, identifying opportunities to improve visibility, content, and performance.
- Tracking key performance metrics including traffic, conversion, AOV, and sales, and contributing to regular reporting for the wider team.
- Assisting in identifying trends and flagging opportunities or issues to support data-driven decision-making.
What We're Looking For:
- 1–2 years of experience in ecommerce, digital retail, or customer service.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify (or a comparable platform).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication.
- An understanding of luxury customer expectations and brand standards.
- Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience in luxury or childrenswear is a bonus, not a requirement.
- Hybrid working – Monday to Thursday in our Chelsea office, Fridays from home.
- 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Pension contribution.
- Modern workplace with cafe and communal spaces, with regular community events.
- A supportive, collaborative team culture with real scope for growth.
