A top law firm is looking for an experienced BD Manager to sit within their dedicated finance practice. Reporting to the Senior BD Manager, you will play a central role in leading BD strategy and execution and serving as the go-to contact for partners across the practice.

  • Support the Partners in targeting potential clients and further developing existing relationships.
  • Keep abreast of relevant developments, legislation, and regulations to build and broaden understanding of the department’s work, enabling knowledgeable conversations and BD recommendations.
  • Co-ordinate and host internal and external events, seminars, webinars and socials.
  • Support in the development and execution of effective marketing campaigns.
  • Business planning, including contributing to the budgeting process within your area of responsibility and monitoring spend against budget.
  • Responsible for managing the practices' directory and award submissions.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience working at another law firm in a similar BD role, with at least 1-2 years at the Senior Executive level. Experience in finance or transactional practice is a clear advantage, but we'll also consider candidates with a genuine interest in those markets.
