Role Description

As a Fractional Marketing Director/CMO at The Marketing Centre, you will provide strategic marketing leadership to clients, collaborating with their teams to create and implement actionable marketing strategies that achieve measurable results. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include market planning, overseeing marketing initiatives, conducting market research, and aligning marketing efforts with business objectives and sales strategies. This is a hybrid role based in the City of Edinburgh, with flexibility for remote work where appropriate. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving growth, fostering innovation, and enhancing client business performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Market Planning and Market Research, with the ability to analyze insights to shape effective strategies.
• Demonstrated skills in Marketing, Marketing Management, and implementing strategic initiatives that drive results.
• Proven experience working directly with Sales teams to align marketing and sales for business growth.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to guide teams and collaborate with senior executives.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, incorporating both in‑office and remote collaboration effectively.
• Experience working at a strategic level within multiple industries is a plus.
• Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field are desirable.
