We are seeking an outstanding Head of Admissions to play a key role in shaping the future of The Marist school community. Working closely with the Principal, Head of Operations, and other key staff, the successful candidate will promote the vision, aims, and ethos of the Marist School to prospective parents and pupils. The Marist School is a leading independent Catholic day school for girls aged 2 to 18, located in beautiful woodlands in the village of Sunninghill, near Ascot.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire admissions process, ensuring a seamless, professional, welcoming, and supportive journey for prospective families.
  • Act as the main contact for parents throughout the admissions journey, building excellent rapport and providing personalised support.
  • Lead and manage the admissions team, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to inform branding and marketing decisions that attract and retain pupils.

Qualifications

  • Strategic and analytical thinker with experience in a values‑led organisation.
  • Leadership experience, preferably in teaching.
  • Demonstrated energy, enthusiasm, positivity, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Excellent relationship building, diplomatic, patient, and effective listening and communication skills.
  • Deep commitment to delivering an exceptional and personalised admissions experience.
