Main Duties
The following are the main duties of the role
Operations
- Engine replacement
- Parts replacement
- Boat Movements and handling
Customers
- Support communication and promotion with clients and contracted authorities.
People Management
- Work with and support all other marine technicicans
Health and Safety
- Work with the Health and Safety Manager and/or consultants to ensure all H&S regulations are met
- Ensure all risk assessments and relevant paperwork are undertaken
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Support the running of a safe, injury/accident free workplace
Other
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations
- Knowledge sharing and upskilling other team members
- Training as required by the role
- Other tasks reasonably within the scope of the role
