We are looking for a people-focused Learning Team Coordinator to take ownership of promoting some of our training activities and supporting senior volunteers.
The Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC) is a vibrant and growing charity delivering life-changing nautical adventure for young people through the Sea Cadets to give them the best possible head start in life. We also provide personal and professional development opportunities for seafarers with the Marine Society. Working with our staff, cadets, and volunteers, we have built a vision and five-year strategy to take us forward and further improve the astounding contribution already made through our work to the lives of thousands of young people and seafarers, while fully supporting our volunteers who are vital to our success.

Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a people-focused Learning Team Coordinator to take ownership of promoting some of our training activities and supporting senior volunteers.
- Manage inboxes and help manage our team of national volunteers.
- Create new activities and learning resources.
- Write and post social media posts advertising courses.
- Send out certificates to cadets.
- Keep sections of a website up to date
Requirements:
- Good customer service skills and who likes helping people
- Prior knowledge of Sea Cadets or similar organisation, either as a cadet or volunteer. For example, a recently aged out cadet. xgikmsk
- Organised and able to plan
- Demonstrates the MSSC values of Respect, Loyalty, Self-Discipline, Commitment, Honesty & Integrity and Courage
Desirable:
- Some experience of social media, such as Facebook or Instagram
- Creative flare to create marketing materials for training
