We are seeking experienced and passionate Health & Social Care Trainers to join our bank staff team to deliver high-quality training across our group of homes. This is an excellent opportunity for trainers that are looking for flexible working hours, on an ad-hoc basis to suit service needs. As an excellent communicator, you will be expected to deliver engaging face to face training sessions that meet mandatory requirements with the opportunity to make a real impact on care quality and staff development.
With a relevant teaching/training qualification and experience of delivering training, ideally within the health and social care setting, you will have the ability to engage, educate and enthuse our staff to reach their potential.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering a range of health and social care courses, including but not limited to Induction, Moving & Assisting, Fire safety, Record keeping, and Dementia Awareness.
- Keeping up to date with health and social care legislation and regulations.
- Adapt training to meet the needs of different services and staff groups.
- Willing and able to travel regularly between Oakham, St Neots, Welwyn Garden City and Potters Bar β therefore a driving license and access to your own car is essential.
Requirements:
- You will be a highly motivated and resilient self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively are essential, along with a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and strong IT proficiency.
