The Events Coordinator is a customer focused role that will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing various meetings and events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. This role would suit a great relationship builder and requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Building Relationships: Proactive in reaching out to customers, team members and wider stakeholders to build effective relationships and coordinate requirements.
- Event Planning: Work as part of a team to plan ahead, and manage and develop meeting themes and schedules.
- Budget Management: Support the management of event budgets, ensuring value is being delivered and cost-effectiveness.
- Team Coordination: Liaise with various team members, negotiate requirements, and manage relationships.
- Logistics: Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, suppliers, materials, catering, and any resource needs.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events.
- On-site Management: Oversee event setup, coordination, execution, and review.
- Post-event Evaluation & Reporting: Conduct post-event evaluations and KPI reporting to assess success and areas for improvement.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving: Ability to handle unexpected issues and find solutions quickly.
