This is a full-time, on-site Print Finisher role based at The Manson Group’s facility in St Albans. The Print Finisher will be responsible for operating and monitoring finishing equipment, such as guillotines, folders, stitchers, binders, and trimmers, to complete printed publications to the required quality standards. Daily tasks include setting up machines, performing test runs, checking output for defects, and adjusting settings to ensure accuracy, alignment, and a high-quality finish. The role involves handling and preparing printed sheets, collating and assembling sections, packaging and labelling completed jobs, and preparing orders for dispatch. The Print Finisher will also follow production schedules, meet deadlines, complete basic equipment maintenance, adhere to health and safety procedures, and collaborate closely with press operators, supervisors, and colleagues to keep work flowing smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with hand tools and power tools in a production, workshop, or print finishing environment, with a focus on safe and efficient operation.
