The Mandeville School, part of the Insignis Academy Trust, is looking to appoint a highly motivated Teacher of Geography who can inspire our exceptional students and drive them forward to achieve even better results. You will need to have strong subject knowledge and be able to teach students of all abilities and ages. You will also need to be highly organised with excellent communication and time‑management skills and will actively participate in our ongoing efforts to become a fast‑improving school.
This role is suitable for ECTs or apprenticeships and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to raising standards and improving outcomes for young people. We are seeking a passionate Geography graduate to join our Geography department via the Level 6 Teacher Apprenticeship. This allows you to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) while being embedded in a supportive school environment. You will receive a reduced teaching timetable (maximum 80%) to ensure dedicated time for training and portfolio development.
Key Requirements:- A UK Honours degree or equivalent (2:2 or higher) in Mathematics or a related field. (If not a related degree, then very strong subject knowledge is required.)
- GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Resilience and strong organisational skills to balance classroom teaching with academic study.
