We are looking for a proactive and talented individual to join our Strategic Projects Team and help drive forward the strategic agenda of one of the UK’s largest and most ambitious universities. You will support the delivery of some of the unique, ambitious and transformative strategic projects within our institutional portfolio.

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience of working in a project administrative function, have a keen eye for detail and be passionate about providing high-quality project support. Here at Manchester Metropolitan University, we are committed to developing an outstanding teaching and learning experience for our students, whilst also building a research-rich culture to address some of the biggest challenges facing society today.

Key to delivering this agenda is our portfolio of strategic projects which will help transform the organisation and enhance our offer to students, staff and the wider community. These represent major strategic investments by the University aimed at generating a step-change; therefore, they are typically large scale and highly complex, involving multiple stakeholders and interdependencies across the institution.

You will act as the first point of contact for your project, working closely with the Programme or Project Manager. You will manage the administration for one or more projects, and provide support for effective planning, co-ordination and delivery. You will also be a core part of the department’s Portfolio Management Office and will work closely with our Head of Strategic Projects Portfolio and Delivery to develop its service.

To apply, please submit your CV and Covering Letter, explaining how you meet the essential criteria outlined in the Job Description & Person Specification, via our application portal.
